Jantar Mantar No Longer Delhi’s Designated Protest Site: What the Supreme Court Said and What Changed
The Supreme Court did not ban protests at Jantar Mantar on October 9. It asked authorities to consider a better venue. Two days later, Delhi Police formally de-notified Jantar Mantar and designated Ramlila Ground, Burari Ground and CBD Ground as Delhi’s new protest venues.
